BEN HANDEL (drums/percussion)
from Warsaw, IN, had his first professional gig at age 10 as lead singer of a cover band, The Toxic Twinkies. Having received his Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University, Ben has toured all over the United States and Japan, including a 6 month run on Broadway with the Tony award winning show, Blast!. He has been a member of a wide variety of groups ranging from percussion ensembles to rock bands and had played in many of the greatest halls in the world, including The Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. and Carnegie Hall in New York City. Ben was a member of the 1999 World Champion Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps. In addition to performing, Ben is active as a clinician, educator, composer, record producer and engineer. Ben presently lives in Bloomington, IN.
