Juan is originally from Bayamon, Puerto Rico. He has a degree in Horn Performance from the University of Central Florida where he has been the recipient of several awards including the Presser Foundation

Scholarship and the Performance Excellence Award.

For three years, Juan was a member of the Brass Band of Central Florida, one of the top-ranked brass bands in the United States. Serving as the band’s Solo Tenor Horn player, he was a featured soloist on numerous occasions. Professionally, Juan has performed as principal horn with the Space Coast Symphony Orchestra and in the Orlando Philharmonic.

Juan was awarded a full scholarship to the Aspen Music Festival and School in 2009 and more recently attended the equally prestigious Music Academy of the West in Santa Barbara, CA. Juan resides in Orlando, FL.
