A Philadelphia native, Chris is an active freelance percussionist based in New York City. He has recently performed in Broadway productions including Beetlejuice, Dead Outlaw, and Operation Mincemeat, as well as in Off-Broadway shows The Lonely Few and Empire Records. Chris earned both his master’s and doctoral degrees in Percussion Performance from the University of North Texas, where he also served as a Graduate Teaching Fellow for five years. He is a proud endorsing artist for Pearl/Adams instruments and Innovative Percussion sticks and mallets. When he’s not behind the drums, Chris enjoys exploring New York City, hiking with his wife Jasmine and their black Labrador, Poppy, and enduring the joys and sorrows of being a lifelong Philadelphia sports fan.
